Our History
Unic was founded in 1982 by Geoff Croft, who saw opportunities to improve the design and functions of machines that he was selling and using himself. The company started life in a factory in the Basford area of Nottingham. Here, Geoff and a small team of engineers developed the first Unic products.
As Unic expanded its R&D capabilities, and brought more paint shop solutions to market, it found itself in need of larger premises. In 2003, Unic moved to a new purpose-built factory located in Colwick, Nottingham, which today remains its international headquarters.
